I am using colors in various compositions. In an era with a lingering feeling of helplessness, I am re-discovering the world full of colors.

My study group (Group Horizon) is celebrating its 10th year anniversary which also happens to be its last year as a group exhibition. All of the artworks are wonderful and display great power. The exhibition is held from July 14th to Sept. 14th, circulating from Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka and Kyoto. I hope you enjoy the show.

For the first time in many months, I had in-person lecture at Kyoto University of the Arts.  I like to see textures, traces of trials and errors, these are very difficult to convey online.

The seminar that I'm responsible is for graduates of Kyoto University of the Arts.  Artists, who; few years after graduating school, want to discuss their works and the directions they are going with groups.

I am in Japan to receive the 77th Imperial Prize as well as the Japan Art Academy Prize from the Japan Art Academy. It is one of the greatest honors in the art world to receive these prizes.
