This exhibition is mostly made up of large works, but in addition to that, I will also be exhibiting scrolls using hundred year old fabrics.
I am changing the colors because I found them to be too common. I find it important to pick the color that is on the border of creating harmony or not.
I am listening to the advise of Mrs. K, who has been my studio assistant for a very long time. She has a keen sense of color; one of the few people who understands my delicate balance of color.
It is important to work on the details on a large piece. This is something I learned from art history. For smaller pieces, dynamism and boldness are important; without that, the works become too busy.
